Compassion Ministries
We believe knowing God has the power to change everything. Our dream is for people to know God personally, find freedom in a transforming relationship with Him, discover their purpose, and use their gifts and abilities to make a difference in the lives of others. We believe nothing is too lost or broken for Him to heal, and we are committed to meeting physical and spiritual needs through the Compassion Ministries of the The Journey Church.
Harvest Food Pantry
The Harvest Food Pantry meets on the first and third Monday of every month to distribute food and other supplies to our community. The door opens at 4:00pm and distribution begins at 5:00pm.
BENEVOLENCE
Each year, we receive an offering where 100% of the proceeds are given away to people in our community who are in financial need. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to meet every need, but some of the ones we do assist with include rent/mortgage and utility bills. If you are in need, please stop by the Church Office to pick up an application.
HOMELESS OUTREACH
Regularly, we partner with Food 4 Souls and other organizations to reach out to the homeless in our communities with food and supplies. Stay tuned as we will be adding more opportunity in this ministry area very soon!
